5 things to know about Ford India's All-New Figo

Ford India on September 23 launched the latest version of its popular hatchback All-New Figo at Rs 4,29,900 ex showroom (Delhi).

Ford India President and Managing Director Nigel Harris said that the All-New Figo is an able and worthy successor to one of Ford's most well-known and trusted nameplates in India.

The All-New Figo offers first-in-class six airbags. The car has a ground clearance of 174 mm.

The car also comes with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) which applies individual brake pressure to all four wheels.

The hatchback will sport a dual-tone black and beige dashboard. 

All-New Figo's fully integrated dashboard is equipped with SYNC with Applink and fastest cooling air conditioning system.

The dual-clutch, spots style, shifting system is designed for quicker gear changes while maintaining superior fuel efficiency.

The car sports two engine variants-1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel. The petrol and diesel engines deliver fuel economy of 18.16 km/litre and 25.83 km/litre, respectively, the company said.

The diesel variant has been launched at Rs 5.3 lakh. 

All-New Figo features Ford's new signature grille with four horizontal slats, sweptback head-lights, underlining body-coloured bumper, among others.

The car will compete with Hyundai Grandi10, Tata Bolt and Maruti Suzuki Swift.

With sporty bodylines the All-New Figo appears bold, dynamic and its elegant exterior conveys a sense of dynamism, efficiency and pure energy.

The car is available in Sparkling Gold, Ruby Red, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver, Oxford White, Smoke Grey.
